September 2011

NCET eMontheMonth is coordinated by NCET, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, a statewide organization that helps Nevadans start and grown businesses by connecting them to the resources they need to succeed.

During eMonth, many organizations — ranging from large firms to nonprofits — hold events that provide educational opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs. These events may include open houses, seminars, and meet-and-greets.

NCET then promotes these eMonth events in emails, on websites, and in the material sent to media outlets throughout the state.

Northern NV Chamber Luncheon: Influence – How to Create it to Build a Thriving Business

The more influence a person has, the more of what he or she wants will come with ease. When people trust you, respect you, remember you, they will want to help you, and go out of their way to tell others about you — when this happens you have influence. Influence is a key ingredient in building a profitable, sustainable and thriving business.
