“We collected over 200 cards while exhibiting at NCET’s Entrepreneur Expo, and we were able to sign over 25% to an account… we could not have obtained this head start with actual users using our product without attending NCET’s Entrepreneur Expo.”

Joe Whitley photoClientTouch.com President/Co-Owner Joe N. Whitley Jr. decided to exhibit at the 2010 NCET Entrepreneur Expo because he thought it would be a cost-effective way to get his product in front of more than 1,500 people. The reality of his experience far exceeded those expectations.

“We collected over 200 cards during our time at NCET’s Entrepreneur Expo, and out of those 200 cards, we were able to sign over 25% to an account,” explains Whitley. “During our time at the NCET Expo, we were able to excite about 17 people enough about ClientTouch.com to become beta testers of our product. At the time of the exhibition, we were still in the development phase of our program.” Adds Whitley, “Because of their direct feedback, we were able to isolate a few bugs and make the program even better for our users. Without their input, we would not have been able to launch as soon as we did.”

ClientTouch.com is a tool that helps sales professionals stay in touch with their prospects and clients on an automated basis, creating unlimited multi-template drip campaigns, automated thank you letters to prospects and new clients, as well as automated birthday and holiday e-cards. Whitley says that out of the 17 NCET Expo-generated beta testers who helped him, 13 are now using the product every day and plan to upgrade to a paid account when their 30-day free trial period is over.

“Another great benefit that came out of our experience with NCET’s Expo is that two of our beta testers were so impressed with ClientTouch.com and believed in its capabilities that they are now our newest reseller affiliates and are helping us sell our product,” says Whitley. “In a way, NCET confirmed our hopes for the future of ClientTouch.com.”

ClientTouch.com launched on July 1, 2010. Whitley says a large percentage of the company’s initial customers were people and businesses he met at NCET’s Entrepreneur Expo.

“I would highly recommend anyone who is contemplating getting a booth at NCET’s Entrepreneur Expo to do it,” urges Whitley. “NCET offers an alternative to attaining direct contact with prospect and customer bases that you can’t get from radio, TV, print or internet marketing. My experience with NCET was invaluable to the launch of ClientTouch.com, and we could not have obtained this head start with actual users using our product that we enjoy now without attending NCET’s Entrepreneur Expo.”

I got three good clients at the last show, which made it the most profitable show I’ve ever exhibited at.”

As a commercial real estate broker, Cohen says small and expanding businesses are his “bread and butter.” He chose to become an exhibitor at NCET’s annual Entrepreneur Expo because he knew attendees would fit his target market of small companies and entrepreneurs looking to expand or relocate their business.

How would Cohen characterize his experience with NCET’s Entrepreneur Expo? One word, says Cohen: “Profitable.”
