The Northern Nevada Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ #126) has received approval to establish an Alternative Site Framework (ASF), allowing potential users to have easier access to FTZ properties and expanding FTZ space into other parts of our region.

Taylor, who works nationally with many foreign trade zones and zone users for application, setup and maintenance of zone operations will provide an overview of the FTZ environment including: the new “Alternative Site Framework”, how a foreign trade zone works, benefits of operating in a foreign trade zone and the costs associated with implementation.

The event will also feature exhibits from vendors who offer energy and water efficiency and conservation solutions.  Attendees will come away with a clearer understanding of the future direction of energy in Nevada, as well as practical knowledge on how to use energy more efficiently today.
